Aryan Ali will be Deeply Missed
Aryan Ali's Story
Aryan Ali, a 6-year-old boy from Abbottabad, had been suffering from breathlessness and chest discomfort since birth. He was not growing properly and often experienced low energy. Concerned about his condition, his parents took him to a local hospital and received a consultation from a doctor. After running some medical tests, the doctor diagnosed him with Mitral stenosis (MS), and Tricuspid Regurgitation (TR). Therefore, his doctor advised Mitral Valve replacement surgery. However, the cost of the surgery was beyond his family’s financial reach.
Aryan lived in a small house with his five family members. His father, the sole breadwinner in the family, worked as a daily wage laborer and earned just PKR 20,000 per month. Aryan’s family faced severe financial hardships and their monthly income barely covered their daily expenses. Despite their love and dedication, Aryan’s family could not afford the much-needed medical care for him. After struggling for a while, his parents found Transparent Hands and asked us for help. Moved by their plight, we registered Aryan’s case. The generosity of our donors enabled us to arrange surgery for Aryan at a reputable hospital on our panel.
On 5th August 2024, Aryan was admitted to the Ittefaq Hospital in Lahore. He received pre-operative care, and his surgery was scheduled for 9th August 2024. The medical staff took every possible measure to help him. Dr Asim Khan skillfully performed his Mitral valve replacement surgery. After undergoing the procedure, Aryan was admitted to the ICU, where he was provided with constant monitoring and care with the hope of stabilizing his heart condition. Despite every effort, Aryan had a sudden cardiopulmonary arrest. The medical team did everything possible to try to save him, but tragically, his heart failed to recover and he passed away on 9th August 2024.
His death left a deep impact on his family and everyone involved in his care. Aryan will always be remembered. May his family find comfort in the memories they shared with him.
