Ali, aged 53 years, lives in Gulshan-e-Iqbal Karachi. He has been feeling pain in his jaw for the last 4 years. He went to the hospital and the doctor gave him painkillers. But the pain didn’t subside. His jaw became swollen and pain increased. Then after some tests, the doctors diagnosed him with a benign parotid lesion. They advised him to undergo a right parotidectomy. In this surgical procedure, the doctor will remove the tumor in Ali’s deep lobe.

Ali is a rickshaw driver with an income of PKR. 12,000 a month and he has 7 kids to support. With this little amount of money, he can’t afford a parotidectomy.

He was advised to have a right parotidectomy. His surgery was done on 29-10-21 at Patel Hospital by Dr. Nabeel. Ali was discharged in good health after four days of hospital stay.
