Ayesha Munawar, 9 years old, a resident of Multan suffers from cataract in the right eye. Cataracts are the clouding of the lens of your eye. Most cataracts develop slowly over time, causing symptoms such as blurry vision and uneasiness in the eye. To treat this condition, the doctor has advised her to undergo LMA + Vitrectomy and IOL (Intraocular Lens) surgery of the right eye. A vitrectomy is a type of eye surgery to treat various problems with the retina and vitreous. During the surgery, the surgeon removes the vitreous and replaces it with an intraocular lens (IOL).
Now this medical procedure is very expensive and affording this surgery is out of question for Ayesha’s father. Ayesha’s father is a laborer and hardly manages to earn PKR. 15,000. Per month. With this measly income, he hardly makes both ends meet. He cannot afford to pay for his daughter’s eye surgery. His father told us:
“As a father, I can feel how irritating it must be to not even see your family clearly. His agefellws playing and enjoying while she is just sitting idle because of her visibility problem. Transparent Hands is my only hope. I hope that they can ease my daughter’s suffering.”
All that is left for you to do is help out Ayesha whose vision declines with every moment you waste. As Ayesha Munawar awaits LMA. Please donate for Ayesha Munawar’s Cataract Removal Surgery as much as you can and allow her to ease her suffering.
