Bahawal Sher's Story
Bahawal Sher awaits Angiography. Before you proceed on to read the details of Bahawal Sher’s surgery, be sure that your help will make his heart healthy again and will make his life less difficult. Therefore, we would ask you to donate for Bahawal’s Angiography.
Bahawal Sher, aged twenty years old, from Lahore is unfortunately dealing with a disease known as Transposition of the great arteries (TGA). Transposition of the great arteries (TGA) is a type of congenital heart defect. In this condition, the two major arteries that carry blood away from the heart aren’t connected as they should be. They are reversed (transposed). Initially, he had symptoms of shortness of breath and discoloration of skin and nails. The doctors prescribed him medication but it didn’t bring him any relief and his condition worsened. Therefore, doctors recommended more medical tests along with diagnostic Angiography. Angiography or arteriography is a medical imaging technique used to visualize the heart structure, with particular interest in the arteries, veins, and the heart chambers.
Bahawal’s father is a daily wager and earns a meager amount monthly. They have no financial support from any friends or relatives. They completely rely on their father’s income for their basic needs. In such circumstances and with a family of five to raise, it is impossible for them to afford the cost of this procedure.
“This organization has given me a new hope. I had lost all hope for life. They have promised to help me with my procedure and get me cured. Please help me.” -Says Bahawal.
The family is in extreme despair since Bahawal’s father is the only earner of his family. In such a gloomy and dark situation, a ray of hope at the end of the tunnel still exists in the form of your donations. Your single donation can decide the fate of this poor family. Now that Bahawal has been connected with Transparent Hands, we are determined in getting him medical assistance. As Bahawal Sher awaits Angiography, we request you to donate generously for him.
