Muhammad Rasheed's Story
50 years old, Muhammad Rasheed, from Lahore has been suffering from Hypertension, Diabetes and chronic kidney disease. He is taking treatment for diabetes and hypertension, and is also suffering from Intradialytic hypotension (IDH). IDH, is a common and often distressful complication of hemodialysis. “Once I used to be strong and healthy. I miss those days. I used to be a rickshaw driver. Which meant I was always on the go. Now look at me. Life has been cruel to me in the past few years. Muhammad Rasheed's Story
Muhammad Rasheed, aged 50 years, suffered from frequent episodes of chest pain for two years. He was also taking treatment for diabetes and hypertension. On medical consultation, he was diagnosed with ischemic heart disease and was advised a coronary angiography for determination of the exact condition of his coronary arteries. For this reason, he was admitted to National Hospital & Medical Center and the procedure was performed by Dr. Tayyab Mohyuddin on 25.03.2021. The angiography revealed moderate to severe diffuse disease in the LAD artery. Rasheed was discharged the same day with an advice of medical management as stents are not required for his heart according to the cardiologist.
