Anab Zahra's Story
Before we dive into the gory details of little Anab Zahra’s ailment, please know that your kind donations can be life-changing for her. Please donate for Anab’s plastic surgery and help us ease her life.
Four years ago, while her mother was cooking dinner in the kitchen, Anab Zahra accidentally fell into the furnace and suffered third-degree burns. Anab’s parents took her to the hospital, where she was provided with first aid and emergency management. Over the next few weeks, the doctors changed her dressings multiple times and waited for the wound to dry out. Due to the lack of physiotherapy, she developed postburn axillary contracture.
Later, to release her contracture the doctor advised her to undergo contracture release and skin grafting. Grafting refers to a surgical procedure that is used to move skin from one site to another on the body. The surgery will not only help to restore her movement. But, it will also relieve Anab of her burn marks and lost skin.
“My little girl Anab was always the most curious kid in her peers. I still believe her curiosity led her to that fire. But that incident changed her. Now, she is scared of everything. Four years have passed, and she still cries in her sleep. The incident left deep scars, both physical and mental. At this point, I hope she gets the treatment for her physical scars and deformities.” -Anab Zahra’s Mother.
Anab’s father works as a daily wage worker and hardly earns PKR 12,000 per month. In his measly income, he cannot arrange for his daughter’s surgery. For the four years, he has been circling back and forth to various hospitals in search of free treatment. Unfortunately, none of his efforts bore any fruit.
Anab’s father heard about Transparent Hands through a friend. He immediately visited our office and registered his daughter’s case with us. We have assured him that we would try our best to arrange Anab’s surgery as soon as possible. Now, all we need is your kind help. Please donate for Anab’s plastic surgery as much as you can.

Anab Zahra's Story
Anab Zahra is a 6-year-old angel who had a terrible accident at the age of 2 years. While cooking dinner, her mother left the kitchen for two minutes when Anab accidently got burnt while playing near the stove. She was taken to the hospital where initial treatment was given for the burn wounds. Her dressing was changed from time to time after it. Because of the burn, she suffered from axillary contracture of her left arm due to which she was unable to stretch it out. The treating physician recommended a contracture release surgery along with skin grafting. For this purpose, Anab was admitted in Lahore Care Hospital and her surgery was performed by Dr. Imran Shahzad on 26.11.2020. She stayed in the hospital for two days and was discharged in a satisfactory condition. Anab is slowly recovering from her surgery.
