Aneela Andleep's Story

Aneela Andleep is in a lot of pain right now. Her financial situation is the only hurdle standing between her and the treatment she needs. Therefore, we urge you to donate for Aneela’s knee replacement.

For the last ten years, 50-year-old Aneela Andleep has been suffering from unimaginable pain in her left knee. Over the years, she managed the pain through pain killers. However, slowly, the pain started to become worse, leaving her unable to walk, stand up, and perform her daily routine work. Upon examination, Aneela was found to have Osteoarthritis of the left knee. Osteoarthritis is the most common form of arthritis that affects millions of people worldwide. It occurs when the protective cartilage that cushions the ends of the bones wears down over time.

To treat this, the orthopedic surgeon has advised Aneela to undergo a total knee replacement surgery. It is a surgical procedure to replace the weight-bearing surfaces of the knee joint to relieve pain and disability. Unfortunately, Aneela Andleep cannot afford the hefty cost of this surgery.

Aneela’s husband does not have enough resources to even run the household let alone arrange a costly surgery. They mostly rely on financial support to get through. Aneela told us:

“Over the last ten years, my knees have refused to bear the weight of my body. Whenever I stand up, it feels like my whole body is crumbling down. The pain is so severe that I cannot even describe it in words.”

After a lot of distress, Aneela’s family has registered her case with Transparent Hands. We want to relieve her pain as soon as possible. But, it cannot be possible without your help. Therefore, we request you to please donate for Aneela’s Knee Replacement as much as possible. You can help with as little as $10.
