Since Baau Masih’s leg was amputated, his life has been full of hardships. He goes through a lot of physical and mental agony every day. Baau Masih, a 60-year-old resident of Sahiwal,  injured his feet while working. Masih developed foot wounds which later got infected. Over time, the infection spread to both legs. He endured this pain for a year until the doctor advised him to get both of his legs amputated below knee level, one after another.

Baau Masih lives in his nephew’s house and is dependent on his nephew for everything. He used to work as a mason before this tragedy struck him. A kind person provided him with artificial limbs many years ago, but he needs to replace these worn-down prostheses now. He came to Transparent Hands and requested us to provide him with below-knee Prosthesis for both of his legs. Baau Masih really needs these artificial limbs to improve the quality of his life.
