Fateh Khan's Story
Fateh Khan is unable to walk and work due to his hip pain. The doctor has advised him to undergo Total Hip Replacement surgery to find relief from the pain. However, it is an expensive surgery and his family cannot afford it. We urge you to donate for Fateh Khan’s Hip Replacement Surgery and give him the gift of a healthy life.
Fateh Khan, a 56-year-old resident of Bajaur Agency, KPK, experienced severe pain and swelling in his legs. The doctor prescribed some medicines. But, with time, the pain shifted in his right hip. His son took him to a local hospital. Upon consultation, he was diagnosed with Avascular Necrosis of the right femoral neck. It is the death of bone tissue due to a loss of blood supply. It mostly affects the femur bone, and if it goes untreated, it may collapse the joint. The doctor advised total hip replacement surgery on the right side. It is a surgical procedure in which the damaged bone and cartilage are removed and replaced with prosthetic components.
Fateh Khan lives in a small house with his wife and two children. His son is a laborer who is the sole earner in the family. He earns just PKR 18,000 per month. Due to financial constraints, his son cannot afford to pay for his father’s surgical expenses.
His son said in despair:
“I am extremely worried and stressed about my father’s health. I want him to be able to walk freely without any pain, but I cannot afford to pay for the surgery. Help us in this challenging time.”
He approached Transparent Hands with great hope that we would register his father’s case. We’ve promised to help him. We urge you to support us in the form of donations to make Fateh Khan’s Hip Replacement Surgery successful. Fateh Khan and his family will be thankful to you even if you make a small contribution. Come forward and donate for Fateh’s Khan Hip Replacement Surgery.
