Huzaifa, a 12-year-old resident of Karachi, has been suffering from undescended testis (left) since birth. It refers to a condition where the left testicle fails to descend into the scrotum. It may require medical intervention to bring it into the correct position. He went to different hospitals and got symptomatic treatment. But with the passage of time, his condition worsened. Recently, he visited a doctor who advised him to undergo orchidopexy. It is a surgical procedure that moves an undescended testicle into the scrotum. The surgery is performed to reduce the risk of compression injury, correct the associated hernia, and/or alleviate the psychological concerns of having only one testicle visible in the scrotum.

Huzaifa’s father, the sole provider for his family, earns a meager 25,000 rupees per month. The weight of their circumstances weighs heavily on his heart as he struggles to afford his son’s necessary surgery. He cries out for help, hoping for a glimmer of hope in the form of generous donations. He said it in despair.

Huzaifa's father, a hardworking individual with limited financial means, was burdened by the overwhelming expenses associated with his son's urgent surgical requirements. Faced with a seemingly insurmountable obstacle, he gathered his courage and reached out to Transparent Hands for support. Understanding the gravity of Huzaifa's condition and the urgency of the situation, we responded to his plea for help.

He was admitted to Murshid Hospital, Karachi, where his operation was successfully performed by Dr. Khalid on 7-07-2023. He was discharged from the hospital after one day.
