Kubra Bibi's Story
Kubra Bibi, a 54-year-old resident of Gujranwala, is currently facing the challenges of cataract in her right eye, causing her significant vision difficulties. The doctor has recommended a specialized treatment called Right Phaco and Intraocular Lens (IOL) surgery to restore her eyesight and improve her quality of life.
Kubra Bibi, a widow who tragically lost her husband five years ago, resides in a small two-room rented house with her five children. As the sole breadwinner, her son’s monthly income of PKR 30,000 is the family’s only source of financial support. However, this limited income is barely enough to cover their basic needs. With house rent amounting to PKR 10,000 and utility bills totaling PKR 3,000, there is very little left to address other essential expenses.
Kubra Bibi said it in a depressed tone:
“Every day, I wake up to the heavy burden of impaired vision, longing for the simple joy of seeing clearly. Your heartfelt contribution can illuminate my world and bring back the gift of sight, allowing me to lead a life without eyesight constraint.”
The burden of Kubra Bibi’s impaired vision weighs heavily on her daily life, making even simple tasks a struggle. She longs for the opportunity to undergo the recommended surgery, which could potentially restore her eyesight and provide a renewed sense of independence and hope. However, due to their constrained financial circumstances, her family finds it impossible to afford the necessary surgical expenses.
In this critical time, she contacted Transparent Hands to register her case. We need your support in brightening Kubra Bibi’s world and giving her the gift of clear vision. With your generous contributions, regardless of the amount, we can make a profound difference in her life. By joining together and extending a helping hand, we can alleviate the financial burden that prevents Kubra Bibi from accessing the eye surgery she urgently needs.
