Muhammad Naeem Ghafoor's Story
Muhammad Naeem Ghafoor, 24 years old, was working in the fields in his hometown of Toba Tek Singh when a horrifying accident changed his life forever. His right arm got stuck in the thresher machine and was so badly injured that it had to be amputated below the elbow when he was taken to a local hospital. The doctors prescribed medicines for pain relief. The pain subsided and the wound healed. However, the amputation not only made Naeem dependent on other people but also adversely affected his morale.
Seeing his condition, his doctor suggested a below elbow functional prosthetic arm for him. The arm would make Naeem more independent in his work and daily tasks. He would also be able to carry weight.
The idea of a prosthetic arm gave Naeem high hopes but the reality of not being able to afford it shattered his dreams. All twelve members of his family are dependent on his father’s pay which is only PKR 18,000 per month.
“My son lost his arm in his youth. It is one of the most horrifying things that we have had to endure as a family. I know that it affects my son’s confidence and makes him dependent on other people. This breaks my heart. I wish I could afford the artificial arm. It would change my son’s life.”– Says Naeem’s father.
Your financial aid could grant Naeem the invaluable gift of a functional artificial arm. So do not hesitate even for a moment and make a generous donation for this young boy.

Muhammad Naeem Ghafoor's Story
More than eight months ago Muhammad Naeem Ghafoor, aged 24, a resident of Toba Tek Singh met with a life changing accident. While working in fields, his right arm got stuck in the thresher machine and was so badly injured that it had to be amputated below the elbow when he was taken to a local hospital. After rehabilitation, the doctor suggested a below elbow functional prosthetic arm for him. For this purpose he was sent to Hope Rehabilitation Centre where he received his new prosthetic arm after consultation by Dr. Khalid Niazi on 10.03.2021. He is looking forward to adjusting to his new arm after which he will gradually learn to use it and live independently.
