Rabia Rehmat's Story

Rabia Rehmat, aged 26 years, a resident of Lahore is currently eight and a half months pregnant. Due to some pregnancy related complications, Rabia had her previous two children born via the cesarean section. Now when she was expecting for the third time, the doctor advised her surgery again. Unfortunately, due to financial constraints, they can not afford her C-Section so generously donate for Rabia Rehmat’s LSCS. Her husband narrates their ordeal in the following manner.

“I am a labourer and I earn around PKR. 15,000 per month. We are four family members living in a small house. The news of the third child brought us immense happiness but keeping the finances in view, I admit that it did bring us some stress in terms of managing the delivery and my wife’s healthcare.”

Rabia Rehmat's Story

Rabia Rehmat, aged 26 years, was pregnant with her third child. She has previously had a C-section, so for this delivery, the doctor advised a C-section as well. For this purpose, Rabia was admitted to Life Hospital and her baby girl was delivered by Dr. Shumaila on 2nd June, 2021. She stayed in the hospital for four days and was discharged in a stable condition. Rabia and her baby girl are doing well.
