Reema, a 26-year-old resident of Karachi, has been suffering from chest pain for the last two years. A local doctor prescribed pain killers to her, but her pain kept on increasing with time. Then she went to the hospital and the doctor noticed an Accessory breast lump. The doctor advised her to undergo excision of this lump. Breast lumps are often caused by something harmless like a non-cancerous tissue growth (fibroadenoma) or a build-up of fluid (breast cyst). Sometimes, a breast lump can be a sign of something serious like breast cancer.
Reema’s husband earns just PKR 20,000 per month. He hardly manages to put food on the table for his family of five. He cannot afford for his wife’s surgery. She needs your help to get her surgery done. She told us :
“I have been enduring this pain for the last two years. I don’t even know the disease from which I am suffering. There’s no way for me to pay for this surgery due to financial constraints. Please help me.”

Reema Muhammad Arsalan's Story
Reema, a 26-year-old resident of Karachi, had been suffering from chest pain and a lump for the last three years. Upon consultation, she was diagnosed with Right Accessory Breast. The doctor advised Excision and Biopsy of the Accessory Breast. She was admitted to Altamash Hospital, Karachi, where her operation was performed by Dr. Nadia on 10-06-2022. She was discharged after two days of stay in the hospital. Her health has been restored.
