Sehar Kanwal's Story
Before you dive into the gory details of Sehar Kanwal’s ailment, please know that only your help can relieve her of her pain. Therefore, we request you to please donate for Sehar Kanwal’s Cholecystectomy and help us ease her life.
Three months ago, Sehar Kanwal felt severe pain in her abdominal region. The pain was so intense that she immediately consulted a doctor. After ultrasound and further investigations, the doctor diagnosed Sehar Kanwal with gallstones. Gallstones are hardened deposits of bile salts that can form in your gallbladder. Bile is a digestive fluid produced in your liver and stored in your gallbladder. When you eat, your gallbladder contracts and empties bile into your small intestine.
To treat this condition, the doctor has advised Sehar to undergo a Cholecystectomy. The doctor performs laparoscopic cholecystectomy to remove a cholelithiasis patient’s gallbladder. A laparoscope facilitates the surgery. While the surgery offers a permanent solution to cholelithiasis, there is no denying the fact that it is quite an expensive medical procedure.
Unfortunately, Sehar Kanwal cannot afford the hefty cost of this surgery. Sehar’s husband is the sole earner of the family. He works as a salesman and hardly manages to earn PKR 25000 per month. With this measly income, rising inflation and rent to pay, he is in no position to arrange for his wife’s surgery. Sehar Kanwal told us:
“I am so grateful for Transparent Hands. The times are bleak but Transparent Hands is the only hope at the end of the tunnel.”
After a lot of physical and mental distress, Sehar Kanwal has registered her case with Transparent Hands. We have assured her that we would arrange her surgery as much as we can. But, we need your help with that. Therefore, we request you to please donate for Sehar Kanwal’s Cholecystectomy as much as you can.
Please Note: In certain situations, we proceed with the patient's surgery/medical procedure despite incomplete funding displayed on the website. Following the surgery/medical procedure, we persist in collecting funds and maintain the campaign on the website until funding is secured in full. Hospitals have granted us a grace period for bill payment.
