Donate for Sucha Gull’s prosthetic leg as two years ago, Sucha Gull, aged 55 years, a resident of Kohat, suffered from a right diabetic foot. Upon medical evaluation, the doctor advised him right below knee amputation as the foot had turned gangrenous. Fortunately his operated wound has healed, and now in order to perform normal day to day activities, he awaits placement of right below knee prosthesis. “Life has been unkind to me for the past few years. It’s been two years now that I have survived the trauma of diabtic foot. I am fortunate that my wound has healed now. But I fail in carrying out daily activities. For this purpose I need a prosthesis. This illness has taken away from me my bread and butter. My elder son is a salesman and he earns around PKR. 15,000 per month. He is raising a family of 11 members. We live with my brother. In these circumstances and financial constraints, it is impossible for us to afford a prosthetic leg. Now that we are connected with Transparent Hands, I see a ray of hope.”

Sucha Gull's Story
Sucha Gull, aged 55,is a resident of Kohat, suffers from chronic diabetes due to which he got a diabetic foot. 2 years back, his foot got infected with gangrene. The doctors advised him to undergo right below knee amputation. After the right below knee amputation, Sucha Gull was unable to run his daily errands. It has been 2 years since he underwent this trauma. Now, to perform his normal daily activities he required a right below knee prosthesis. For this purpose, he was sent to Hope Rehabilitation Centre where he received his new prosthetic leg after consultation with Dr. Khalid Niazi on 10.08.2021. He is undergoing therapy now as suggested by the doctors and he will be able to walk normally again soon.
