Muhammad Tahir Aslam's Story

In this moment of vulnerability, Tahir’s greatest desire is to secure the cardiac treatment he needs. The prospect of undergoing mitral valve replacement offers hope for a healthier future, not only for himself but for his family as well. Yet, the surgical expenses stand as a great barrier, casting a shadow of uncertainty over his dreams and financial stability. Please come forward and donate for Tahir’s mitral valve replacement to give him a chance at a healthy life.

Tahir, a 33-year-old resident of Lahore, has been suffering from acute chest pain, shortness of breath, an irregular heartbeat, and episodes of dizziness and tiredness for the past six years. He went to the local hospital for a check-up. After running some diagnostic tests and a thorough evaluation, the cardiologist diagnosed him with mitral valve prolapse and mitral regurgitation. The cardiac surgeon advised him to undergo mitral valve replacement, followed by a fresh echo.

He lives with 10 family members. He is a daily wager and earns just PKR 45,000 per month. It is not possible for him to pay the surgical expenses. His burden multiplies as he lives with ten family members, and the weight of their financial dependence rests on his shoulders.

He said with teary eyes:

“I reach out to kind souls, hoping you will hear my plea. Your support can be the light that guides me through the darkness, the hope that heals my ailing heart.”

He contacted Transparent Hands to register his case. We are determined to provide him with the best treatment. However, we need your support to do so. Be a source of hope for this helpless and desperate family. Your donation can prolong his life significantly and enable him to support his family financially. Don’t forget to donate to deserving patients.

Muhammad Tahir Aslam's Story

Tahir, a 33-year-old resident of Lahore, had been suffering from six years of debilitating symptoms that led him to the doors of hope and healing. The acute chest pain, shortness of breath, irregular heartbeat, and episodes of dizziness and fatigue had taken a toll on his quality of life. However, his determination to find a solution and the support he received from Transparent Hands would soon change everything.

Upon visiting the local hospital, Tahir underwent diagnostic tests and a thorough evaluation by a skilled cardiologist. The diagnosis revealed that he was suffering from mitral valve prolapse and mitral regurgitation, conditions that required immediate attention. The cardiac surgeon recommended a mitral valve replacement, a complex procedure that carried the promise of restoring Tahir's health.

However, the financial burden of the surgery loomed over Tahir's dreams and stability. The cost of the procedure seemed like an insurmountable obstacle. It was at this critical juncture that Tahir reached out to Transparent Hands. Recognizing the urgency and significance of Tahir's case, we swiftly registered his case and took charge of his health condition.

With the support of Transparent Hands, Tahir was admitted to the National Hospital, Lahore, where Dr. Ahmed Shahbaz, a skilled and experienced cardiac surgeon, performed the mitral valve replacement surgery on 28-08-2023. The operation was a success, paving the way for Tahir's recovery and a new lease on life.

Behind this life-saving surgery stood the Pakistan Children's Heart Foundation which played a pivotal role in making Tahir's surgery possible. The impact of the donors' support extended far beyond the operating theater. The weight of the emotional burden that Tahir's parents had carried for years was lifted, replaced by gratitude and renewed hope. Tahir, filled with immense gratitude, expresses his heartfelt thanks to Transparent Hands and all the donors who selflessly contributed to his cause.
