Muhammad Waqas's Story

Donate for Waqas’s Prosthesis to help him walk again. A tragedy takes a few minutes to happen but its effects can stay forever. Muhammad Waqas, a 23-year-old resident of Lodhran, experienced an unimaginable loss. Waqas had a road accident three years ago and got his right leg badly injured. Upon medical evaluation in the hospital, the doctor discovered severe trauma to his leg. His right limb was completely crushed and it was not possible to save it. Therefore, the doctors had to amputate his leg above the knee level.

Muhammad Waqas worked as a laborer and his father is a farmer. His father is the only breadwinner in the family now as Waqas has not been able to work since the tragedy struck him. They have no one else to help and support them financially. With a family of seven to support and a meager income, they have no choice but to seek support from donors like you. They can either provide food for the family or get Waqas a prosthetic leg. A friend of Waqas recommended Transparent Hands to him and his case is now registered with us. Muhammad Waqas shared his distress with Transparent Hands in the following words:

“I had never imagined that something like this could happen to me. I was a carefree person and this incident has changed me completely. It’s as if all happiness has been drained from my life. Transparent Hands has given me hope.”

Waqas awaits your donations to acquire the prosthetic leg in order to improve the quality of his life. Now that he has been connected with Transparent Hands, we are determined to help him. We urge you to help Waqas generously and make his life better. This will not be possible without your donations. We urge you to donate for Waqas’s Prosthesis without any delay.

Muhammad Waqas's Story

Muhammad Waqas, a 23-year-old resident of Lodhran, had been unable to walk on his own. His right leg was crushed in a traffic accident ten years ago. The doctors advised him to undergo right above-knee amputation. After the right above-knee amputation, Muhammad Waqas wasn't able to carry out his daily tasks. He required a right above-knee prosthesis to perform his daily activities. He was sent to Hope Rehabilitation Center where he received his new prosthetic leg after consultation with Dr. Khalid Niazi on 09.03.2022. He is undergoing therapy now as advised by the doctors and will be able to walk independently again soon.
