Kaneezan Bibi is a 59 years old widowed mother who lives in a small town of District Khanewal with her one son and two daughters. Her elder son died around 5 years ago due to road accident. Kaneezan’s other son is also not well after his accident. He works as a helper in a mobile shop and earns only 50 rupees a day. Kaneezan Bibi also earns 100 rupees a day by stitching clothes and selling hair accessories in her town. In such meager income, this family hardly manages to eat two-times meal.

Kaneezan Bibi is unable to work these days due to her bothersome disease. She has been suffering from hypochondrial pain for last 4 years. She went to many hospitals and clinics in hope of treatment but everyone advised her to undergo surgery. Kaneezan Bibi could not undergo operation due to lack of money. She requested many institutes for free treatment but nobody paid attention to her. She now feels severe abdominal pain, vomiting and weakness due to which she is at rest most of the time.
