Lubna Imran is a 29 years old homemaker who has been suffering from Uterus Fibroids for last 5 years. Her medical condition has led to non-cancerous lumps in her uterus and she is experiencing symptoms like pelvic pressure, frequent urination and severe pain in her waist and legs due to which she is even unable to sit properly. She is also experiencing heavy menstrual bleeding and her cycle often lasts for more than a week.

Though Lubna is at her childbearing age, she is unable to conceive at the moment due to her disease which is upsetting her and her husband. She went to local hospitals for treatment but doctors advised her immediate surgery for permanent relief. If she doesn’t undergo surgery right now, her disease can also make her infertile for lifetime.

Lubna’s husband is a salesman at a machine shop and earning only 10000 PKR per month. Within this meager income, he is struggling really hard to manage his house rent and other household expenses. In these circumstances, it is impossible for him to pay for his wife’s expensive surgical procedure and hospital bills.

Her illness is not only affecting her physical or mental wellbeing but has started affecting her husband too as he desperately wants to see his wife in good health.
