Abdullah is a 4 years old boy. He started experiencing pain in right inguinal area. He has been diagnosed with Right Inguinal Hernia – a hernia that occurs when a portion of an organ within the abdomen, such as the intestines, protrudes through a weakness in the muscles of the abdomen.

His parents took him to various private and government hospitals but the medication they gave him, only provided temporary relief. The doctors have suggested him surgery as a permanent cure.

Abdullah is suffering from decreased appetite, swelling and pain. He has become weak and irritable.

He has two brothers, one 8 years old and the other 7 months old. His father is a daily wage laborer earning only 400 PKR per day. The right arm of his father does not function properly because of a wrong injection he got, some 8 years ago. This often makes it difficult for him to get work. Abdullah’s mother is a house wife and they live in a small house.

The costly surgery that Abdullah needs is not affordable for his father. Luckily they came to know about Transparent Hands. The organization has taken up Abdullah’s case.

Muhammad Abdullah 's Story

Muhammad Abdullah 4 years old boy had hernia in his right groin since birth. It gradually increased in size and started causing pain. He was advised surgery for relief. He was operated for his hernia on 12-05-19 in Abid Hospital, Mian Channu by Dr. Faisal Usman. His Rt herniotomy was done. He was discharged in perfect health after 2 days of hospital stay.
