Donate Saif Ali for his Paedriatic surgery
Saif Ali's Story
“Saif is a brave young boy. But his everlasting ordeal has left his happiness far behind, somewhere that none of us remember his cheerful smile anymore” –Saif’s father shared with TH.
Saif Ali is a 6 years old boy who is fighting through his hardships since his birth. He was born with imperforate anus having Down syndrome. His first surgery was done at a local hospital when he was of 2 days. He underwent a second surgery 2 years later at the same hospital. The last surgery is still required i.e., Colostomy Closure. They have consulted different hospitals in this regard but the cost is out of their reach.
His father works as a laborer and hardly earns 16,000 PKR a month. He has 2 younger brothers. They all live in a 5 Marla house with total 12 family members in a joint family. All the household expenses are dependent on his father’s income solely.
“I have spent many sleepless nights hoping to reach an idea to get my son’s last surgery done successfully. But every night just passes away in a sheer disappointment” –Saif’s father added.
Amid the struggling phase to get an affordable surgery package, his father came to know about Transparent Hands and their free of cost healthcare services for deserving patients. Saif is waiting here, having hope in his eyes, to get his treatment done as soon as possible. Donate now so his surgery could proceed.

Saif Ali's Story
Saif Ali, 6 years old, was suffering from anorectal malformation- an imperforate anus. He was operated on just after his birth to make a temporary passage for stool. He was advised another surgery to construct his back passage at the normal site. His surgery- an anterior sagittal anorectoplasty (ASARP) was done at Akram Medical Complex on 10-10-19 by Dr Naveed Haider. He stayed for 5 days in hospital with good post-operative recovery and was discharged in good health.
