Shafayat Ali's Story

“It is hard to fulfill the requirements of my family as I am their only earning source. My father’s surgery is not affordable for me. I want my father to get healthy and live a happy life with us all. Please help me for his surgery.” – Shafayat’s daughter requested.

Shafayat is 52 years old and from last 2 years, he has been suffering from Umbilical Hernia. He is also a patient of Hepatitis C.

He visited different hospitals and the doctors have advised surgery for the permanent treatment of his hernia. The lump at his umbilical region has become severely painful and he needs immediate surgery.

Shafayat has six daughters and one son. The son is a student of grade 10. One of the daughters is married. The only source of income for the family is his elder daughter, who is working as a staff nurse at a private hospital, earning about 30,000 PKR per month. They live in a small, rented house. The amount of money needed for Shafayat’s surgery is beyond her daughter’s affordability.

Shafayat Ali's Story

Shafayat Ali 51 years old known case of decompensated CLD was suffering from Recurrent Paraumblical hernia. He experienced frequent episodes of abdominal pain because of this and was advised surgery. His Mesh Hernioplasty was done on 04-05-19 in Lahore Care Hospital by Dr. Ahmed Fawad. He remained admitted for 2 days in hospital and had good post-operative recovery. Now he is pain free and back to his work.
