Abdul Rehman's Story
Abdul Rehman, 3 years of age, was born with a congenital condition known as penoscrotal hypospadias in which the opening of his urethra is not at its normal site, resulting in difficulty and abnormal urination. His condition is severe in nature and in order to correct it, three consecutive surgical procedures are required. Abdul Rehman is currently at stage 1st degree repair surgery and needs to undergo a staged urethroplasty.
Abdul Rehman’s father works as a salesman at a private company and manages to earn 25000 PKR a month. Since he has a family of five to support, his expenditures tend to outweigh his salary. He tried to get his son treated for free at local hospitals, but they kept adding his name to the waiting list and scheduled his surgery at the end of next year.
Luckily, they found out about Transparent Hands and approached for help. We have taken up his case and now await your help.
“We didn’t even bother visiting a private hospital because we knew we wouldn’t be able to afford it. All we did was pray and hope that God would send help our way. And he did. We request you to help him get his surgery as soon as possible.” – Abdul Rehman’s father
Abdul Rehman’s surgery is to be conducted as early as possible as his condition could cause more serious complications for him later on.
