Aysha Rauf's Story
“It is not an easy task to deal with all the problems at one time. Biggest of all, to see my only daughter in such pain and misery every day and that too in this young age, is not less than any major trauma in my life”- Aysha’s Father
Aysha Rauf, 9 years of age, is a heart patient since birth. Her parents found out about her condition only days after she was born. After diagnosis of TOF, they went to many government hospitals for her treatment but none of them proved to be fruitful as they did not give proper attention. In one of the government hospitals, a doctor advised her to get an echo and then a ‘heart surgery’ as soon as possible to avoid any future complications.
In sheer despair, the family came home. They knew that even if they don’t eat for a week or two, they’ll be unable to pay for the surgery since it cost too much and is out of Aysha’s father’s wildest reach. All they did was buy medicine for her daughter.
Aysha’s condition has now spun out of control. She often becomes breathless and turns blue. While playing with the kids of her age, Aysha’s parents have found their nine-year-old daughter lying unconscious on the ground countless times.
His father works at a small shop and earns PKR 17000 a month. They live in a ‘3 Marla’ house which was given to them by their parents. They are a family of six living under the same roof. The burden of Aysha’s treatment has added to her father’s tensions.
On hearing about Transparent Hands, Aysha’s father visited the office and explained the whole case. On hearing the case, necessary and immediate assistance was given but she needs to undergo an ‘Open Heart Surgery’ for the ‘heart disease of TOF’ that is not something to be ignored and needs immediate attention. Your donation can contribute a lot to her cause.
Aysha Rauf needs your support to get her treatment done as soon as possible.
A little attention would be of great help for someone who is willing to survive and fight for her life.
