Donate to Ghulam Fareed for His Ilizarov Fixation
Ghulam Fareed's Story
Ghulam Fareed, 40 years old, suffered from a serious accident around 2 years ago which extensively damaged his right leg. Despite undergoing three major surgeries, his fracture did not get fixed properly and recently has been presenting trouble again. He has been diagnosed with an infected nonunion of his right Tibia and requires yet another surgery- an Ilizarov fixation- for it. It is for this surgery that Ghulam Fareed requires the help of Transparent Hands.
“I need to get back to work soon. My family needs the income because we are barely getting by right now and each day I spend doing nothing weighs down on me.” – Ghulam Fareed
Previously employed as a laborer, Ghulam Fareed lost his job because he was experiencing severe mobility issues due to his affected leg. He has 2 sons and 2 daughters, three of whom are young and attend school. His eldest son works as a laborer and is currently the only source of income for Ghulam Fareed’s family, but he does not earn nearly enough to pay for the medical costs of Ghulam’s surgery.
With your help, we can provide Ghulam with a reliable appointment for his surgery at no cost to him. To make this possible, we would like to request you to please donate whatever you can manage for his surgery costs today.
Please Note: In certain situations, we proceed with the patient's surgery/medical procedure despite incomplete funding displayed on the website.
