Donate to Imrana Kausar for Her Hysterectomy
Imrana Kausar's Story
Imrana Kausar, 40 years of age, has been suffering from increased vaginal bleeding for the last 1 year. She sought medical attention in time but proper care wasn’t provided to her. Gradually, her condition deteriorated further and she was diagnosed with extensive uterine fibroids. To avoid further risks, she has been advised to have an abdominal hysterectomy- surgery to remove the uterus- for permanent relief. Otherwise, the bleeding will only get worse with time.
Imrana works around 12 hours a day as a housemaid in different houses and earns 12,000 to 14,000 PKR per month. She works hard to support herself and her only daughter but despite her best efforts, her salary falls short of meeting all the expenses.
With a small child dependent on her, Imrana’s health concerns are even more alarming for her.
“My husband does not work so I am responsible for looking after all my daughter’s needs. She only has me and if I am unwell, there is no one to tend to her. This thought worries me so much that it keeps me up at night.” – Imrana Kausar
Please help Imrana today so her operation is not delayed any further. Any financial assistance from you can make a big difference.
