Thirty one years old Khairunisa, from Jamshoro, has been living with rectal pain and bleeding piles for the last eight years and was diagnosed with hemorrhoids. She has been taking different medicines but it didn’t help much. Upon going for another consultation, the doctors advised her to undergo a surgery and due to low income she couldn’t get her surgery done. Nisa found out about one of our Free Medical Camps in Kotri where she visited and told our Medical Officer about her condition and circumstances.

Her husband works in a private company as a crew member and has very low income due to which they couldn’t afford Nisa’s procedure. After visiting the Transparent Hands free medical camp in Kotri, she was told to go to ISRA hospital and consult a general surgeon. Khairunisa was advised to have a hemorrhoidectomy.

“I see my wife enduring this pain every day. She is getting weaker day by day and It hurts to see that I cannot do anything about it. I cannot bear the sight of seeing her like this everyday, it hurts me so much to see her like this” says Khair un Nisa’s Husband.

Khairun Nisa's Story

Khair Un Nisa, 31, was diagnosed with hemorrhoids and advised a Hemorrhoidectomy by her doctor. She was admitted to ISRA University Hospital and the surgery was performed by Dr. Abdul Aziz on 02.11.2021. Khair Un Nisa stayed in the hospital for two days and was discharged in a stable condition. She is gradually healing well after her surgery.
