Rizwana, A fifteen years old resident of Sindh has been enduring pain in her left kidney from the last five years. She was taken to a public hospital in Karachi and was treated with lasers. Unfortunately, after some time she started experiencing the same pain again. Upon further consultation, she was diagnosed with stones in her left kidney. She was prescribed some symptomatic medicines for the spontaneous passage of stones and pain relief but it proved to be ineffective. She has been suffering from severe pain ever since. She was rushed to ISRA hospital by a neighbor when her pain became unbearable. She was worked up and diagnosed with a non-functioning left kidney. There, Rizwana was advised to undergo Nephrectomy for this.
Rizwana’s father is a laborer in the village. Unfortunately due to financial constraints, he is unable to afford any sort of treatment or surgery at the moment. A friend of Rizwana’s father told them about Transparent Hands. We have verified and registered her case. Rizwana’s father shared his ordeal with us in the following manner:
“Being her father, it’s really hurtful to see my daughter in pain. It breaks my heart that I cannot do anything for her. Transparent hands is my only hope. We were very welcomed here and the people here are very dedicated and empathic.”
Rizwana is too young to have been enduring all this pain. Transparent Hands is determined to help her but that is not possible without your support and donations. Hence, we urge you to donate for Rizwana’s Nephrectomy and help her lead a normal pain-free life.
Please Note: In certain situations, we proceed with the patient's surgery/medical procedure despite incomplete funding displayed on the website. Following the surgery/medical procedure, we persist in collecting funds and maintain the campaign on the website until funding is secured in full. Hospitals have granted us a grace period for bill payment.
