Empower Suman to Deliver Her Baby Safely

Suman Noor's Story
Suman, a 25-year-old woman from Karachi, is in the final weeks of her pregnancy. With each passing day, she eagerly waits to hold her baby in her arms. Recently, she visited a gynecologist at a nearby hospital. After undergoing an ultrasound scan and some medical tests, Suman was found to have placenta previa. It is a pregnancy-related condition where the placenta partially or completely covers the cervix, which can lead to complications during delivery. Therefore, her doctor has advised a C-section for a safe delivery. However, Suman’s family can’t afford the C-section.
If Suman does not undergo a timely C-section, both she and her baby may face life-threatening complications. Prolonged labor may put immense stress on the baby, increasing the risk of oxygen deprivation, infections, and distress. For Suman, delays in surgery can lead to excessive bleeding, high blood pressure complications, and long-term health risks.
Suman and her husband live in a small rented house. Her husband works as a laborer, earning only PKR 27,000 per month. Out of this, they pay PKR 10,000 for house rent and PKR 6000 for utility bills. They barely make ends meet and affording to pay for Sumna’s C-section is a significant challenge. With no family savings and no one to turn to for help, they are left with no choice but to seek your support.
Suman said in despair:
“My baby’s arrival should be a moment of joy, but I am filled with fear and worry. The doctor says I need a C-section for safe delivery, but my husband cannot afford the cost of the surgery. Please help me bring my child into this world safely.”
Suman’s husband is deeply worried about her health and the safety of their unborn child. They dream of welcoming their baby into the world with joy. Only you can help them in this crucial moment. Your support can ensure a safe delivery for Suman and a healthy start for her baby. Every contribution, big or small, can bring them closer to a safe and happy future.
Let’s stand by Suman during this difficult time and ensure she gets the much-needed care.

Suman Noor's Story
Suman Noor, a 25-year-old woman from Karachi, was in the final weeks of her pregnancy and eagerly counting down the days to hold her baby for the first time. Her excitement was clouded by growing concerns after a visit to a gynecologist at a nearby hospital. Following an ultrasound scan and a series of medical tests, she was diagnosed with placenta previa, a condition where the placenta partially or completely covers the cervix. This complication increases the risk of bleeding during delivery and poses serious threats to both the mother and the baby. To ensure a safe delivery, the doctor strongly recommended a Cesarean section (C-section). However, the cost of the procedure was beyond the reach of Suman and her family.
Suman lives with her husband in a modest rented house. Her husband, who works as a laborer, earns only PKR 27,000 per month. Their limited income barely covers their house rent, food, and other basic household expenses. Their financial constraints made it impossible for them to afford the cost of the surgery. Worried and desperate, Suman and her husband turned to Transparent Hands for help. After reviewing her case and understanding the situation, we registered her case.
On April 19, 2025, Suman was admitted to Murshid Hospital in Karachi. On the same day, her C-section was successfully performed by Dr. Samreen Zeeshan. The procedure went smoothly, and Suman delivered a healthy baby girl. She received proper post-operative care and was discharged in stable condition on April 22, 2025.
Suman shared her heartfelt thoughts as follows:
“We were scared that complications would harm me or my baby. We didn’t have the money for surgery, but your support came at the perfect time. I delivered my child safely. I will never forget your kindness and timely help.”
Through your generosity, Suman’s life has changed for the better. She is now safely recovering with her newborn by her side, filled with joy and relief. Your support made it possible for her to embrace motherhood with new hope and strength.
