Meet Muqadas Anwar, a 22-year-old woman from Karachi, who is about to deliver her third baby. Due to her history of two C-sections for childbirth, Muqadas knew the risks involved. Therefore, she decided to consult a gynecologist at a local hospital. After a detailed medical evaluation and considering her medical history, the doctor has advised another C-section. To ensure the safety of both the mother and the baby and avoid potential risks, it is necessary to follow the doctor’s advice. However, Muqadas is extremely worried as her family can’t afford her C-section.

Without a C-section, both Muqadas’s and her baby’s lives would be in danger. She may face several complications like obstructed labor, fetal distress, and excessive bleeding. These concerns highlight the need for a C-section.

Muqadas’s husband is a driver, and after working for long hours, he barely manages to bring in just PKR 25,000 per month. Muqadas lives in a rented home with her husband and two school-going children. Their house rent of PKR 6000, utility bills adding up to PKR 6000, and educational expenses of PKR 1000 have put them in a difficult financial situation. It leaves nothing behind for savings.
