Nuzat Bibi lives in Karachi with her husband and five children. They reside in a rented house, and her husband’s monthly income as a daily wage earner is only PKR 20,000. Unfortunately, their financial situation is unstable, and they struggle to make ends meet. The household expenses, including a monthly rent of PKR 5,000 and utility bills amounting to PKR 2,000, stretch their limited income even further. Additionally, the family carries the burden of a loan totaling PKR 150,000, along with other financial obligations. Given their constrained resources, they are unable to afford the surgical expenses required for Nuzat Bibi’s upcoming delivery.
