Fozia Imran aged, twenty-five is a mother of two beautiful children. Both of which were delivered through C Sections. Now, Fozia Imran is ready to welcome a baby into this world again. Seeing her medical records, the gynaecologist has advised Fozia to undergo a C-Section. Lower segmentation Caesarean section is the most common type of C-section. In this surgical procedure, the surgeon makes an incision a little above the urinary bladder’s connection with the uterus. The location of this incision is the lower segment, hence the process is called lower segmentation C-section. 

While a C-Section promises a complication-free birth to Fozia and her unborn baby, unfortunately, she does not have enough means to afford the hefty cost of a C Section. Fozia’s husband is the sole earner of the family. He works on daily wages and hardly manages to earn PKR 20,000 per month. With a family to raise in this income, it is very difficult for him to arrange for his wife’s C section. He told us:

“The lady doctor at the big hospital told us that my baby and my wife are under great threat if they do not deliver through C-Section. I am scared out of my mind. Please help us.”
