Hamza Ali's Story

Hamza Ali, a 23-year-old resident of Multan, has been enduring the pain of an unimaginable loss. Hamza had a road accident two years ago and got both his legs badly injured. After he was rushed to the hospital, upon medical evaluation, the doctor discovered severe trauma to both of his legs. His limbs were completely crushed and it was not possible to save them. Therefore, the doctors had to amputate his legs above the knee level.

Hamza worked as a laborer and his father is a farmer. His father is the only breadwinner in the family and Hamza has not been able to work since the tragedy struck him. They have no one else to help and support them financially. With a family of nine to support and a meager income, their choice is between providing food for the family or getting Hamza prosthetic legs. Someone told Hamza about Transparent Hands and he shared his distress with us in the following words.

“My life changed in a blink of an eye. I had never imagined that something like this could happen to me. Once, I was a carefree person, but this incident has changed me completely. It’s as if I have no will to be happy. ” Hamza Ali.

Hamza Ali's Story

Hamza Ali, a 23-year-old resident of Multan, had a traffic accident two years ago and both of his legs were crushed. He was taken to the hospital, and upon consultation, the doctor advised him to undergo bilateral above-knee amputation. After both of his legs were amputated, Hamza came to us for the leg prosthesis. He was sent to Hope Rehabilitation Center where he got his bilateral above-knee prosthesis placement done by Dr. Khalid Niazi on 20-04-2022. Your support helped Hamza walk again. He is slowly learning to walk with his artificial legs. Thank You for the donations.
