Hazoor Bakhsh's Story

Meet Hazoor Bakhsh, a 20-year-old man from Multan, who is suffering from blurry and dim vision. At a young age, Hazoor Bakhsh finds it hard to walk around the home without bumping into things. His work as a laborer demands clear vision, but his eyesight has deteriorated significantly. Recently, he visited a doctor at a nearby hospital. After a detailed medical evaluation, the doctor diagnosed him with a cataract in his right eye. A cataract is a clouding of the lens in the eye. To restore his ability to see clearly, his doctor has advised the right Phaco + IOL surgery. Unfortunately, the cost of the surgery is beyond his financial capacity.

Hazoor Bakhsh is extremely worried about the circumstances and he longs to see his loved ones’ faces clearly and carry out his routine tasks without any support. Not undergoing the surgery will lead to a worsening of the disease. It may ultimately increase the risk of blindness.

Hazoor Bakhsh lives in a small rented home with his parents and five siblings. He and his father work as daily wage laborers and earn just PKR 30,000 per month. Their house rent of PKR 3000, along with utility bills amounting to PKR 3000, food, and other living expenses, stretches their financial situation thin. They are unable to save money for Hazoor Bakhsh’s surgery. He fears that if his condition worsens, he may no longer be able to support his family. Hazoor Bakhsh said in despair:

“I want to work and live without facing struggles every day. I work to the point of exhaustion, but my income is barely enough to cover basic needs. I request you to kindly support me in undergoing the eye surgery.”

Hazoor Bakhsh relies on your kindness. With your support, he can undergo the much-needed surgery that will restore his vision. Your generosity can change his life, allowing him to regain his independence and continue supporting his family. Let’s join hands and help Hazoor Bakhsh see the world clearly again.

Hazoor Bakhsh's Story

Hazoor Bakhsh, a 20-year-old man from Basti Bhutta, District Multan, had been suffering from worsening vision in his right eye. The dimness in Hazoor’s right eye created numerous challenges in his daily interactions. He visited a local doctor, who diagnosed him with cataract in his right eye. Consequently, the doctor recommended a right-sided Phaco + IOL. However, the cost of the surgery was far beyond Hazoor's means.

Hazoor Bakhsh works as a laborer, earning just PKR 15,000 per month. He has five siblings. His father is also a laborer, and they both work very hard to support their family of eight. Hazoor and his siblings live in a rented three-marla house with only two rooms. Under these circumstances, it was impossible for Hazoor to afford the surgery. However, getting the surgery was important because his diminishing eyesight made his daily activities difficult. During this time of need, he contacted Transparent Hands. After examining and verifying the case, we helped Hazoor with your support.

On April 25, 2025, Hazoor Bakhsh was admitted to Bakhtawar Amin Memorial Hospital in Multan. Dr. Sadaqat Ali performed a successful right Phaco with IOL surgery on April 26, 2025. He received post-operative care and was discharged the same day.

After undergoing successful surgery, Hazoor Bakhsh expressed his pleasure and gratitude. He said:

“I can see clearly now. This surgery will help me work more diligently. I will be able to support my family better. I am thankful to everyone who helped change my life. I feel much more motivated and healthier.”

With sharper eyesight, Hazoor Bakhsh can now work more effectively and efficiently.

His family appreciates your timely help and is hopeful that this improvement will bring new opportunities for him and help him live a more fulfilling life.
