Laiba Tariq's Story

Laiba Tariq, a six-year-old resident of Multan, has been burdened with the effects of a traumatic right cataract for most of her early life. This condition has caused her significant discomfort and has resulted in profound vision impairment.

Upon discovering Laiba’s condition, her parents immediately sought medical help and consulted with an eye specialist. They were informed that the recommended procedure to restore her vision and provide her with a brighter future is lens matter aspiration and IOL implantation. This surgery involves the removal of the cataract and the replacement of her natural lens with an intraocular lens.

Unfortunately, Laiba’s family has limited financial means, and the cost of the surgery is beyond their reach. Her father, with a heavy heart, expresses his concerns:
