Qaiser Shareef's Story

Firstly, before we dive into the gory details of Qaiser Shareef’s inability to walk and the reasons behind it. Please know that it is only your financial support that would help Qaiser Shareef walk again. Around 7 months ago, Qaiser Shareef slipped in his washroom and severely injured his hip. He felt excruciating pain on his right side. Due to his poor financial conditions, he could not afford to get a check-up from a hospital. Therefore, he visited a nearby quack who gave him an oil massage for temporary relief. Afterwards, consistent pain restricted Qasier’s mobility and soon he was unable to walk without the help of crutches.

“One of the things I miss the most about leading a normal life is going to the nearby park with my kids. It was the highlight of my day. I would cradle my youngest daughter and the elder three would go up and down on a jumping bounce. I have not been able to walk for 7 months. Now, I cannot even enjoy the little pleasures in life. It seems that my life is on a trail towards nothingness.” -Qaiser Shareef

Per his family’s insistence, Qaiser Shareef visited a local hospital where the doctor diagnosed him with a neck of femur fracture – a fracture that occurs within the capsule of the hip joint. The doctors recommended an immediate surgery for his hip replacement in which Qaiser Shareef’s affected hip joint will be replaced by a prosthetic implant.

The cost of the surgery is way beyond his affordability. Therefore, we urge you to please donate and help Qaiser Shareef walk again. He works as a cobbler and hardly makes PKR 15,000 per month. With 6 mouths to feed every month, he will never be able to save for his surgery.

Thus, he has registered his case with Transparent Hands. In conclusion, we hope that your financial help will help Qasier Shareef walk again in no time.

Qaiser Shareef's Story

Qaiser Shareef, 38 years old, suffered from pain in his right hip joint. The matter became worse when he slipped in his bathroom. For treatment, he consulted some local physicians who turned out to be quacks. They mistreated his condition. Consequently, when the pain became unbearable for him, Qaiser visited another physician. He was prescribed multiple tests and later diagnosed with avascular necrosis of the neck of his femur bone. The doctor advised total hip replacement surgery for him. For this purpose, he was admitted in Akram Medical Complex and his total hip arthroplasty was performed by Dr. Naveed Ali Sher on 26.01.2021. He stayed in the hospital for four days and was discharged in a stable condition. Qaiser is slowly recovering from his surgery.
