Help us save Sannan’s Heart
Sannan Ali's Story
This little girl is facing a deadly disease, but she is completely unaware of it. Sannan has been suffering from a heart condition. We urge you to donate generously and help us save Sannan’s Heart.
Sannan Ali, a three-year-old resident of Bajaur Agency, has been enduring this pain since birth. She suffers from dyspnea and cyanosis. She was born with a congenital defect. Her parents took her for a check-up and the doctor gave her symptomatic treatment. They also advised for some tests to diagnose her illness. The doctor diagnosed Sannan with Ventricular Septal Defect (VSD) with right Pulmonary Atresia.
Her first surgery took place in a public hospital when she was just 18 months old. But as she grew older, her condition did not improve. The cardiologist advised Sannan to undergo Rastelli surgery. The Rastelli treatment is a surgical procedure that is used to address such congenital cardiac abnormalities. But due to continuous delays from the hospitals, her parents could not secure a date for the surgery. Over time, her condition worsened. Due to financial constraints, Sannan’s family couldn’t pay for this surgery in a private hospital.
Sannan’s father is a laborer and he is the only earner in the family. He earns just PKR 20,000 a month which is barely enough to support a family of seven. A neighbor told him about Transparent hands and they contacted us. We verified and registered Sannan’s case. Sannan’s grief-stricken mother said:
“My child is on the verge of death and is completely unaware of her condition. She is a bright, active child who is completely oblivious of her illness. This fact really breaks my heart. I hope my daughter gets the same opportunities as any other young woman her age. Please donate for my daughter’s operation if you happen to be reading this.”
We’re committed to help Sannan now that she’s registered with Transparent Hands, but we won’t be able to do so without your help. Donate without any delay to help us save Sannan’s heart.
Please Note: In certain situations, we proceed with the patient's surgery/medical procedure despite incomplete funding displayed on the website.
