Zahid Hussain's Story

Zahid Hussain, a 63-year-old resident of Sialkot, has been battling the relentless grip of Ischemic Heart Disease (IHD) and Triple Vessel Coronary Artery Disease (TVCAD). Each day, he finds himself caught in the clutches of chest pain, struggling to catch his breath, and fearing the worst. As a devoted husband and father, Zahid’s life has always revolved around caring for his family. However, the constant pain and limitations imposed by his heart condition have transformed his once-vibrant life into a daily struggle. Desperate for a solution, Zahid is now seeking support to overcome this daunting challenge.

Following multiple episodes of chest pain, Zahid was admitted to a local hospital. The cardiologist delivered a grim diagnosis, revealing the severity of his condition. Zahid’s heart arteries were affected, causing reduced blood flow and an increased risk of further heart attacks. The recommended course of action is coronary artery bypass grafting (CABG), a complex surgical procedure that bypasses the blocked arteries and restores proper blood flow to the heart. This surgery is vital to prevent future heart attacks and improve Zahid’s quality of life. However, the financial burden associated with the procedure stands as a significant barrier. Zahid is the sole breadwinner in the family and is struggling to make ends meet on a monthly income of just 35,000 PKR. The cost of the surgery seems impossible.

In a heartfelt plea, Zahid humbly requests:

“I implore your support and kindness to fund my life-saving surgery. I dream of a future where I can fulfil my role as a loving husband and father without the constant fear of chest pain looming over me at every moment.”

Transparent Hands has taken up Zahid’s case, determined to raise the necessary funds for his surgery. Your contribution, regardless of its size, holds the power to transform Zahid’s life, granting him a chance to regain his health and reclaim his role as the pillar of his family. Together, we can alleviate the financial burden on this resilient individual and offer him a new life filled with hope, love, and good health. Your generosity can be the beacon of light that guides Zahid towards a brighter tomorrow. Please donate generously and help us restore Zahid Hussain’s heart, allowing him to embrace life once again.

Zahid Hussain's Story

Zahid Hussain, a 63-year-old resident of Sialkot, faced a daunting battle against Ischemic Heart Disease (IHD). His struggle with multiple episodes of chest pain led him to seek medical help, and he was admitted to a local hospital. It was there that a cardiologist delivered a grim diagnosis of Triple Vessel Coronary Artery Disease (TVCAD), revealing the severity of Zahid's condition. His heart arteries were affected, leading to reduced blood flow and an increased risk of further heart attacks. The recommended course of action was coronary artery bypass grafting (CABG), a complex open heart surgical procedure that would bypass the blocked arteries and restore proper blood flow to the heart. This surgery was crucial to prevent future heart attacks and improve Zahid's quality of life. However, the financial burden associated with the procedure stood as a significant barrier to Zahid's recovery.

In a moment of hope, Transparent Hands took up Zahid's case and launched a fundraising campaign to cover the costs of his surgery. With the compassionate support of donors, the necessary funds were raised, and Zahid's path to healing became a reality. He was admitted to the National Hospital and Medical Centre in Lahore, where Dr. Ahmed Shehbaz skillfully performed the CABG procedure on February 27, 2024. The surgery was a success, and after a six-day hospital stay, Zahid was discharged in satisfactory condition.

The impact of the donors' kindness and compassion on Zahid and his family cannot be overstated. Their generous contributions not only granted Zahid a second chance at a healthy life but also reignited hope and restored faith in the hearts of his loved ones. The burden of financial constraints was lifted, allowing Zahid to receive the critical medical intervention he desperately needed. The gratitude expressed by Zahid Hussain and his family towards the compassionate donors is immeasurable. Their generosity has forever changed the lives of Zahid and his family, providing them with newfound optimism and the opportunity to embrace a healthier future.
