Nazra, a 65-year-old resident of Lahore, is grappling with a cataract in her right eye. The impairment in her vision has created significant challenges in her daily life, making it hard for her to see clearly. The doctor has recommended Right Phaco + Intraocular Lens (IOL) surgery to address her condition and alleviate her vision problems

Nazra, a widow whose husband passed away 40 years ago, resides in her small two-room house in Lahore. With a meager living space and limited resources, she relies financially on her son, who works in a factory and earns a monthly income of PKR 30,000. Being the sole breadwinner, Nazra’s son shoulders the responsibility of managing daily expenses, utility bills, and providing food for the family. Given their constrained financial circumstances, they are unable to afford the expenses associated with the necessary surgical procedure.

Nazra said it in a sad tone:

“I feel the weight of my impaired vision every day, and all I want is to see clearly and experience the world. It would make such a difference in my life and for my four children. I’m reaching out to you with humility, hoping that you can help me in this difficult situation.”
