Let’s Help Tasleem Deliver Her Baby Safely

Tasleem Sarwar's Story
Tasleem Sarwar, a 37-year-old woman from Karachi, is approaching the end of a high-risk pregnancy. She is 36 weeks pregnant and anxiously awaits the arrival of her sixth child. Tasleem’s obstetric history is complex. She has previously undergone five C-sections, each carrying its own set of medical risks and complications. Due to her history, her doctor has strongly advised a planned C-section for this delivery as well, to ensure the safety of both mother and baby. However, the cost of the C-section is overwhelming for her family.
With each passing day, she grows more concerned about the delivery. Without surgical intervention, there is a significant risk of complications, including uterine rupture and severe bleeding.
Her husband works as a laborer, earning a modest monthly income of PKR 20,000. They live in a modest home with their five children, four of whom are studying. The family also carries the heavy burden of a staggering loan of PKR 200,000. Her husband works hard to provide for his family, but he simply cannot save the money for his wife’s C-section. During this challenging time, Tasleem contacted Transparent Hands and asked us for assistance.
With tears in her eyes, Tasleem said:
“My biggest wish is to bring this baby into the world safely. However, with every day that passes, my fear grows. We feel helpless during this difficult time. Kindly, help us so I can hold my newborn in my arms and continue being there for my family.”
Your generous donations can help Tasleem receive the essential surgical care to deliver her baby safely. Let’s lift this family from the shadows of fear and give them the joy of welcoming a healthy new life.
