Let’s Restore Haq Nawaz’s Eyesight

Haq Nawaz's Story
Haq Nawaz, a 52-year-old man from Kotri, has been struggling with worsening vision in his left eye for the past three years. What started as mild blurriness has now made even simple tasks difficult. Recognizing faces, and working at his job have all become daily challenges. Concerned about his condition, he visited a local hospital and consulted a doctor. After performing a thorough examination, the doctor diagnosed him with a left-eye cataract—a condition where the eye’s natural lens becomes cloudy, leading to vision impairment. The doctor has recommended Phaco + IOL surgery, a procedure that will restore his vision. However, the cost of the surgery is beyond his financial capacity.
If left untreated, Haq Nawaz’s condition will continue to worsen, leading to further vision loss. Over time, the cataract may result in complete blindness in his left eye, making it impossible for him to continue working and supporting his family.
Haq Nawaz is the sole breadwinner in his family. He works at a private firm and earns just PKR 40,000 per month. He lives in a rented house with his wife and two children, paying PKR 8000 per month for rent. After covering essential expenses like food, and utility bills, there is barely anything left to save. His financial situation does not allow him to afford the cost of the surgery, leaving him in a state of despair. He wants to continue working and supporting his family, but his deteriorating vision is making it increasingly difficult.
Expressing his concern, Haq Nawaz said:
“I fear losing my sight completely. I have worked hard all my life to support my family, but now, my world is getting dark. I feel helpless as I can’t afford the surgery. I just want to see clearly again, and to continue providing for my loved ones. Please help me get this surgery.”
Haq Nawaz’s future depends on your generosity. With your support, he can regain his vision and continue living a life of dignity. We ask you to come forward and donate for Haq Nawaz’s surgery.

Haq Nawaz's Story
Haq Nawaz, a 52-year-old resident of Kotri, had been facing a decline in his vision for the past three years. With time, the mild blurriness in his left eye soon progressed into severe visual impairment. Tasks like recognizing familiar faces and working became daily struggles, making him frustrated and worried about his future. Realizing the seriousness of his condition, Haq Nawaz decided to seek medical advice. He visited a local hospital, where the doctor conducted a detailed examination of his eye and diagnosed him with a cataract in his left eye. To restore his eyesight, the doctor recommended Phaco + IOL surgery. However, he couldn’t afford his surgery.
As the sole provider for his family, Haq Nawaz earned only PKR 40,000 per month as an employee of a private firm. He lived in a modest rented home with his wife and two children. Haq Nawaz’s meager income barely covers their household expenses, including utility bills and food expenses. With no savings to fall back on, affording the surgery seemed impossible. However, when despair was setting in, a well-wisher told him about Transparent Hands. Haq Nawaz approached Transparent Hands and shared his story. We registered his case and brought hope to his family.
On April 11, 2025, his cataract surgery was successfully performed by Dr. Yaruq Sami. After the operation and necessary post-operative care, Haq Nawaz was discharged in good health on the same day.
With deep gratitude, Haq Nawaz shared:
“Thank you for giving me the gift of sight. I can now return to work with confidence and take care of my family. I am forever grateful to all those who supported me through this difficult time.”
Haq Nawaz’s life has changed. With his restored vision, he has regained his independence, confidence, and ability to work efficiently.
He can now support his family without fear and participate fully in the joys of daily life. His family extends their deepest gratitude to you for supporting them during their time of need.
