Rani Bibi Needs Your Support to Undergo Hysterectomy

Rani BIbi's Story
Rani Bibi, a 50-year-old woman from Lahore, is suffering from heavy menstrual bleeding and intense pain during her menstrual cycles. Due to this condition, activities like sitting and performing her daily tasks have become increasingly difficult for her. Worried about her condition, she went to a local hospital and consulted a doctor. After performing an ultrasound scan and some lab tests, the doctor diagnosed Rani with Uterine Fibroids. These are non-cancerous tumors that develop in the muscular wall of the uterus. To treat this issue, the doctor has advised a Total Abdominal Hysterectomy with bilateral Salpingo-Oophorectomy. However, the cost of the surgery is beyond her family’s capacity.
If Rani’s condition is left untreated, she may continue to experience ongoing symptoms like heavy bleeding and pelvic pain. The fibroids can grow and may develop into cancer. Moreover, there may be other risks of complications, such as anemia.
Rani lives in a small brick home with her husband and one child. Her husband and son work hard as daily wage laborers. Their meager monthly income barely covers their utility bills of PKR 5000, food, and other living expenses. Adding to their financial hardships is their staggering loan of PKR 150,000. Their financial constraints make it extremely challenging for them to pay for Rani’s much-needed surgery. During this time of despair, they have turned to Transparent Hands and asked for assistance.
Rani expressed her heartfelt plea as follows:
“I wish for a life without pain and discomfort. Your generosity would mean the world to me. I request you to help me overcome this difficult time and return to a life of happiness and well-being.”
Rani’s life will change after surgery. Your small act of generosity can bring lasting relief to her and her family.
