Relieve Rehmat’s Gallbladder Pain with Surgery

Rehmat Khatoon's Story
Rehmat Khatoon, a 34-year-old woman from Hyderabad, has spent the last five months suffering from severe pain in her upper abdomen that worsens after meals. She often experiences nausea and discomfort that disrupts her daily routine and ability to care for her family. Concerned about her persistent condition, Rehmat visited a local hospital. The doctor conducted necessary tests and diagnosed her with Cholelithiasis. It is a condition where hard stone-like deposits form in the gallbladder, leading to pain and digestive issues.
To address this condition and prevent further complications, the doctor recommended Laparoscopic Cholecystectomy, a surgical procedure to remove the gallbladder. If left untreated, Rehmat’s condition will worsen over time. It may put her at risk of severe infections, jaundice, bile duct obstruction, or even organ damage.
Unfortunately, Rehmat faces financial hardships. Her husband works as a laborer, earning only PKR 15,000 per month, which is barely enough to cover the essential expenses of their household. They live together with their five children, all of whom depend on her husband’s modest income. The family also has a substantial loan of PKR 200,000 hanging over their heads, which adds to their daily stress and struggles. Given these circumstances, affording the cost of Rehmat’s surgery is beyond their reach.
Desperate to find a way to relieve his wife’s pain, Rehmat’s husband reached out for help. With every passing day, Rehmat’s condition continues to impact her ability to look after her children and manage her home. Rehmat’s husband shared their plea as follows:
“My wife’s health is getting worse with each passing day, and we feel helpless. Her pain has taken away her smile and her strength. We cannot afford this surgery on our own. Your support can help her live a healthy life again.”
Let’s join hands to restore her health, so she can once again care for her children and live without constant pain.
