Meet Sameena Lal, a 33-year-old woman from Matiari, Sindh, who has been suffering from pain in her upper right abdominal region for the past year. Every meal is accompanied by nausea and vomiting. Therefore, she is unable to enjoy healthy meals. Due to her illness, she faces challenges in carrying out her daily tasks and taking care of her children. Worried about her deteriorating health, she went to a local hospital and consulted a doctor. After running some medical tests and an ultrasound scan, the doctor diagnosed her with Symptomatic Gallstones. It is characterized by the deposition of hard mineral deposits in the gallbladder. To treat this condition, her doctor has advised open cholecystectomy, but Sameena’s family can’t afford her surgery.
