In order to heal from ailment, Rukhsana has been advised to undergo Phaco of her right eye and placement of the intraocular lens (IOL). As, Rukhsana Bibi awaits of her surgery, she shares her ordeal in the following words:
“My husband is a Rickshaw driver. He earns an average of PKR. 400 – 500 per day, sometimes he even comes home empty handed. We have a house of our own, but with this amount of salary we have to manage a house and cater to the needs of our two daughters and one son. All of my children too have issues with their eye-sight. In these circumstances I can not afford to pay for my eye surgery. But this surgery is crucial for my well-being as my vision is now deteriorating and I have to cater to the needs of all my children too.”
In hopes of a disease free life, Rukhsana awaits your donations to undergo Phaco of the right eye with an intraocular lens (IOL) so she can support her children too. Now that she has been connected with Transparent Hands, donate generously to assist Rukhsana in restoring her vision.
