Sadaf Awaits Cochlear Implant Surgery

Sadaf Raza's Story

Sadaf Raza, a 4-year-old resident of Bannu, has been grappling with hearing loss since she was one year old. Concerned about their daughter’s condition, her parents took her to the nearest hospital for diagnostic tests. Following the evaluations, the doctor recommended cochlear implant surgery as the optimal solution to restore Sadaf’s hearing.

Sadaf resides in a rented house in Bannu with her parents and four siblings. Her father, the sole earner in the family, runs a shop in the local market. Despite his hard work, his income of 40,000 PKR is stretched thin to cover various expenses. With the burden of a house rent of 18,000 PKR and the shop rent of 10,000 PKR, along with utility bills of 3,500 PKR and school fees, Sadaf’s father finds himself unable to afford the surgical expenses required for her cochlear implant surgery.

Sadaf’s father shares his heartfelt plea:

“I am deeply distressed by my inability to provide the necessary medical care for my precious daughter, Sadaf Raza. As the sole earner in the family, I struggle to meet our daily expenses, including house rent, shop rent, utility bills, and school fees.
