Sami Ullah's Story

Sami Ullah was born with a deadly congenital condition. His distress is increased by the fact that he and his family cannot afford the treatment for this disease. We request you to donate generously for Sami Ullah’s open heart surgery.

Sami Ullah, a 20-year-old resident of Lahore, has been dealing with a deadly congenital disease for many years. The symptoms include shortness of breath and cyanosis. Upon consultation, the doctors recommended multiple diagnostic tests. When the test results came out, Sami Ullah was diagnosed with Transposition of the great arteries (TGA) at the age of thirteen. Sami Ullah was born with Dextrocardia, which means his heart is positioned towards the right side of his chest, and this creates complications. Transposition of the great arteries (TGA) is a type of congenital heart defect. In this condition, the two major arteries that carry blood away from the heart aren’t connected as they should be. They are reversed (transposed). The doctor advised him to undergo Angiography followed by Open Heart Surgery.

Sami Ullah’s father is a laborer with a meager monthly income. They have no financial support from any friends or relatives. They completely depend on their father’s income for their basic needs. In such circumstances and with a family of six to support, they can’t afford the cost of this procedure.

“I’m only 20 years old, yet I’ve been living without hope since the doctors diagnosed me with this fatal congenital condition. I’m not sure how long I’ll be able to live without treatment.” – Sami Ullah

The family is in extreme despair since his father is the only earner in the family. Your donation can decide the fate of this poor family. A poor family with a lot of expectations is looking forward to your donations. Please donate for Sami Ullah’s Open Heart Surgery and save his life.
