Abdul Hadi's Story
Abdul Hadi, a 4-year-old resident of Lahore, faces the potential for life-altering change through cochlear implant surgery. Without this crucial procedure, he is unable to hear his surroundings, making it difficult for him to study or communicate. The silence that surrounds him has devastated his family. We appeal to your generosity in supporting Abdul Hadi’s cochlear implant surgery, giving him the opportunity to thrive and function fully in life.
Abdul Hadi was diagnosed with congenital sensorineural hearing loss at the age of one when his parents noticed he was unresponsive to their voices. They sought medical help at a local hospital, where testing confirmed the diagnosis. The doctor recommended cochlear implant surgery, which would electrically stimulate the cochlear nerve to restore his hearing.
Living with his parents and three siblings, Abdul Hadi’s family relies on a monthly income of 51,000 PKR. His father, currently unemployed, depends on financial support from relatives. It is his father’s heartfelt desire to ensure that Abdul Hadi is not trapped in a world of silence.
He expressed his distress, stating, “I believe that with some effort, I will be able to gather sufficient funds for my child’s cochlear implant surgery, and my child will have the chance to gain a lot of important opportunities in life. Your donation today will help my child receive the necessary medical treatment and thrive in the future.”
Upon learning about Transparent Hands and the causes we support, someone informed Abdul Hadi’s parents, leading them to reach out to us for assistance. Now, all that is needed is your small donation to support Abdul Hadi’s cochlear implant surgery and provide him with the chance to embrace life to the fullest.
