Inguinal Hernia occurs when a part of the intestine protrudes through a weak spot in the abdominal muscles, resulting in a visible bulge in the groin area. It can cause discomfort, pain, and the risk of complications if left untreated.
A herniotomy is a surgical procedure performed to repair an inguinal hernia.
